A nightmare. I am so sorry, they should check infusions much more closely than this.

I called the nurse, and that’s when I discovered the problem. Somehow, the cannula needle had penetrated the vein and was now merrily pumping Oxaliplatin into the soft tissue of my arm. Since the infusion was almost finished, they terminated the cannula and called the doctor.
