As a new member with less than 100 followers I don't love this. I also didn't get into writing to be a salesperson. I left blogging because the over emphasis on social media influencing ruined it for those who simply wanted to write. I am curious about why Medium would remove paying members who don't write very often, it's possible some members simply like to read or prefer to publish less often for whatever reason. I don't understand why Medium would get rid of any active subscription, seems short sighted and financially dumb unless I am misunderstanding.
