— sayeth this or something very like it by every female celeb recently in the headlines promoting their love of the “easy money” that OnlyFans provides them.

Lily Allen, an actress, musician, podcaster and relatively still successful famous woman, is clearly not making enough money.

Sure, she has a Brooklyn townhouse featured in Architectural Digest, decorated like Eddie from Absolutely Fabulous went on a drunken spending spree. Yes, she is married to very successful actor David Harbour and comes from a parentage of industry British nepotism. But she needs more.

Her songs are no longer chart hits, which is an affront to nature/her presumed hierarchy, and so she must be compensated. She now accomplishes this by selling feet pics to people who like that sort of thing.

She made headlines pointing out that she makes more from OnlyFans than Spotify streams, an indictment on the streaming industry’s ludicrously low compensation to musicians.
