Definitely getting a "the party's over" vibe from a lot of things I read but as a new writer here I'll stick it out for a bit as it has motivated me to write again, even if it's just for pennies it's worth it for that to me. Also enjoying the diversity of topics to choose from here and lots of great writing, too. I don't love the new pressure to hustle to sign people up, I quit blogging because the influencer thing is not my bag and it seems like a dumb idea in the long run for Medium but what do I know. :-)
