Excellent analysis! I always thought the show overplayed Lorelei's "pulled herself up by her bootstraps" narrative, but at least they did make some effort to acknowledge her privilege/ background. I always thought Christopher was just immature more than flashy but you are right he did start throwing around money after his inheritance. I also liked when Logan's family acted like the Gilmores were dirt poor, that really got Emily's nose out of joint lol!
