Exile in Guyville was the soundtrack of 1995 for me, it's very hard to remove my listening of it (obsessively, also!) from that moment of time, but wow was it great to have that voice as a young woman. I also loved whitechocolatespaceegg but admit I lost track of her when she went a bit pop for awhile. I keep meaning to read her memoir, I am sure she has some interesting stories to tell! Glad you found her when it was right for you, finding new bands during this pandemic time has helped me too. :-)
