Fantastically told Jack, I think your confused memories are understandable considering the shock your body went through. It's amazing how these life altering moments can go one way or the other. Had you all taken a bus instead, could have been a non event. Then again, icy roads can be equally if not more treacherous. Is it possible the iv needle was in your other hand? I would imagine you must have had one. Anyway great story, lucky escape indeed!
