Fun breakdown! I still feel bad not tipping U.S. rates in the UK, I am not convinced they make a living wage here yet the tipping culture is so not a thing here. I remember reading about a Scandinavian country where more people rent than own, I hadn't realized Norway was so slanted towards ownership. School sounds much more fun and holistic in attitude there (and affordable at the college level!).
