👏 Good for you Susan, for knowing your worth and preserving your sanity. Office politics and sexism are pretty hefty obstacles for many of us I think, my last office job soured me pretty badly on the idea I admit. Unless we can mold ourselves into type A /extrovert personalities, which for many is imitative and uncomfortable, we will always fail to compete with people willing to shove others under the bus and take credit for the quiet diligence of others. It's a dog eat dog world in many workplaces and not all of us should torment ourselves trying to win at it. Glad you put yourself first, this is such an important message for anyone who needs it.
