He's obviously a good egg if he didn't expect you to know who he was. I am married to a non famous musician, his band played a lot of gigs when we were first together, we got to the giddy heights of a festival which was mainly exciting for the backstage toilets and famous band spotting, lol! I admit I am wondering who your husband could be as I live in the UK (American but married a Scot). It must be weird to deal with but sounds like you both have a grounded/low key attitude to things. I can imagine it could be awkward at times though.
