I agree, like you I realized curation didn't seem to have much tangible effect, but it was a nice pat on the head lol. TonyStubblebine mentioned wanting to fix it, I don't really understand how removing the tiny piece of approval will have any positive effect though. My last two (non Medium) things I wrote have no indication of distribution whatsoever, I admit I miss it. Maybe I am being punished for being outspoken lol.
