I can get on board with this ranking, I might swap one and three though. Great summary! I will miss this show, I also felt a bit underwhelmed by the final season in places. I could have done with much less Joel, and agree the flash forwards didn't add up to much, other than the Susie rift which at least had a point/conclusion. It would have been nice to see Midge have a Carnegie Hall moment, the workplace writer story was key I guess but overall it definitely felt rushed (to be fair I guess they would have liked another season according to ASP), but as usual she tried to do too much. Did we really need the whole mobster musical bit/Joel and Midge non-story?
