I can only imagine what an ordeal this was for her family, glad Martha has found a way to take back her agency and voice. The only thing I would say in defense of the HBO serialization is that it definitely made me more sympathetic for his family than the documentary, and in some ways shone a light on the inherent bias of that documentary (arguably it could have done more, but highlighting how Peterson had a relationship with one of the filmmakers was important imo). Some of these modern documentaries follow these cases for decades, it's hard to imagine how the documentary makers retain any semblance of impartiality. I will definitely watch this, thanks Ellen.
