I can respect that and I am sure you are mostly right. But I know/have read the stories of women who claim it doesn't affect them, it paid their way through college, etc. Some people seem to be able to treat it as a job and are lucky to be in places where they are not in danger. They are probably the rarities. I was young when these films came out and I do think they along with Pretty Woman etc. gave Gen X some warped ideas for sure.
