I cannot imagine dealing with this in the workplace in the way that you have with so little protection or assistance, it's infuriating. Academia has to do better than this in the year 2023. Why we are expected to put up with this until our attractiveness to men wears out is so rooted in society it's depressing. Occasionally I will see amusing instances of younger women trolling the unsolicited dm'ers for comedy/sport, and more power to them, but also, does it make a difference and why do we need to expend our energy correcting or avoiding bad behavior at all?
