I cannot imagine how scary that must have been to live through so close by. I had friends in the city that day and I know it changed everyone who lived through it. Thank you for sharing your story, and it is really sad how we lost that feeling of unity so quickly. I left NYC/America 5 months before 9/11 so I haven't experienced the change in America firsthand but it's sad to see.
