I didn't realize that digital reading including ebooks had this effect but it makes sense. Unfortunately my bookcases are overloaded, even though I just did a clear out, I really don't have room for physical books. Also the last few times I bought paperbacks the print was so tiny it's unreadable and on shitty greige paper (I know it's a sustainability thing but ugh are books ugly now). I don't need reading glasses yet either according to my optician so it's tricky, I can only read them without my glasses on by holding them a few inches from my face. So e-readers it is for me sadly.
