I Don’t Care What Most Medium Readers Want
I’m sick of all the self ordained experts around here
Another day, another wannabe Tim Denning clogging up my Medium tag.
Say what you will about Tim, but he was original in his own way. This latest crop of dull dupes are tedious in the extreme. “Illuminating” my butt.
“Don’t use big words” “Don’t scratch below the surface” “Cut the fat” “Bullet points/format like this not that” Yada yada who cares.
How about don’t cater to dummies who don’t like to read and have never cracked a book in their life. Don’t spoon feed the masses and lie they can rake in the dough like you just because you are the current top of the dogshit heap of idiocracy they still pay out for here even though T-dog said they were eliminating paying for Medium meta.
Not top of the to do list I guest, and so it goes, the pennies keep getting funnelled towards the latest swindlers. Way to prioritize the quality writing onsite yo.
Look, people who lap this stuff up are not and will never be my readers. But it’s still kind of sad to see.
They are missing out on the quality stuff here, the witty and yes worthy wordsmiths who write like it matters are being drowned out by this cumbersome crusty crud. Same as it ever was.
