I Get Knocked Down, But I Don’t Always Get Back Up Again

I just read an article that made me feel inspired and gave me a kick up the arse.

It’s by a Medium writer who most everyone will have heard of, who some take pot shots at or look at with envy and confusion and annoyance (including me although not in any intentionally antagonistic way, more in a grumble grumble why does that guy always stay winning here way).

He’s not necessarily my favorite writer, but he does a line in occasional b.s. free advice that rings true for me. It sure did today anyway.

Yep, the one and only Tim Denning. Once in a while a title of his will catch my eye.

This Is the Pattern Everyday People Can Fall into That Slowly Destroys Their Lives

I think he does what he does well, although it’s not generally my cup of tea (more so the finance and writerpeneur speak). A lot of my issue is that he has a ton of pale imitators who have it felt like at times threatened to saturate Medium with their largely false promises of becoming a writing zillionaire.
