I guess some people use them because a lot of people got scared of being sued for using stock photos in case they may not have had the correct permission because there were documented lawsuits around bloggers (Not on Medium). I don't know, I would rather use my own pics if that did become a problem, the A.I is not for me on any level whether it's pics or words. Great piece!
