I haven't been to a rave since the 90s. Am I hallucinating or weren't sober/straight edge raves a thing for a while? It all sounds pretty messed up now tbh, you sound better off out of it and the friends seem pretty fairweather. If they can ignore people they know od'ing in front of them something is seriously dark beyond repair.
