I haven't heard of a few of these and they sound up my street. Excellent synopsis and I agree the superhero stuff has beyond oversaturated the industry, could give a crap about any of it. I wanted to like The Northman more than I did, it was just a tad too navel gazey for a Vikings flick for me. I might get out of my not going into a cinema rut and see Banshees if it's still playing as I have enjoyed most of the directors and actors other collabs. The Norwegian horror and not a rom com (I think I remember you writing about it) are also must adds, thanks.
