I hope many people read this Ellen, thank you for sharing. People can be oblivious sometimes unfortunately to the needs of others if they aren't blatantly obvious. Ableism is far too unchallenged generally, it doesn't take much to be more gracious and thoughtful. I am glad you are feeling more empowered with how you express and feel in your body.
