I love it! Consider it flattery, I highly doubt he responds to everyone, or even most. I remember he signed my friend's book with a similar snark/sarcasm, it's just his vibe lol. Also the old rules about poetry are mostly disregarded now, I think he was just messing with you :-) Also you live in Norfolk what?! My mom was born and raised there, I lived there too for a time! I would treasure this post card, he is such a great writer.
