I loved this! I think moving to different countries in life is something some people do with ease, others struggle with, and others still can find daunting or unimaginable as you wrote. Maybe having had the UK/U.S. expat experience helped you to take the leap, glad you found the courage to chase a personal dream. I often feel guilty for living an ocean apart from my Mom, but if I lived in America chances are I would still be a plane ride away. Glad your daughter was so understanding.
