I made 4 digits on one article that (I swear unintentionally) poked the MAGA bear last month. Took 14k reads. In three years I have never come close to that many reads, even with boosts. I don't think it's a high bar many of us can expect to reach from now on. I know boosts aren't boosting like they were from my own pub and others reporting, so the carrot is in the sky at this point. I would not be surprised if the next step is removing boosts altogether (they seem to be rejecting most of them now by many accounts).
