I must also have an unsophisticated palate, I had them on a risotto once, they must have been okay-ish ones because the smell and taste was strong - unfortunately I didn't really love it, it was like a smoky dirty mushroom fugue, no thanks! I also tried caviar once but was so revolted by the texture I spit it into a napkin, you can't take me anywhere!
