Sometimes there are bands I don’t click with. Not a big deal, not everything is for everyone. I have always been a bit “meh” on millenial indie sister darlings Haim.
But their new single “Relationships” is a straight bop, a vibe, a mood, whatever you will. I am hooked anyway!
Guilty pleasure confession time: I watch Outer Banks on Netflix. It’s a show about a friend group of young treasure hunters set in South Carolina. It is a fun adventure show populated with pretty young people, and has generally not super stressful drama. It’s a great veg out show.
The “baddie” of the group is played by actor Drew Starkey, who stars in this video as the love interest. In Outer Banks he plays a rich brat with a daddy complex who occasionally isn’t a total monster, so this makes him occasionally swoonsome.
Drew Starkey has the “rizz” as the kids call it, and is thus the perfect young actor for a sexy video boyfriend. The video is good, it must be said. It’s stylish, tells a story, and makes you feel something…
