I was a HUGE Cure fan in high school (not quite a goth but not far off!). And I loved 10,000 Maniacs too. It's so good to revisit stuff, sometimes it stands the test of time. I was listening to Disintegration again for the first time in a long time at the start of the pandemic though and decided it was a bit too heavy for the moment! I was aiming for "obscure-ish" with some of these songs just to highlight some hidden gem type songs that people in theory might know at the same time. I don't keep up with new music particularly well but I saw Sharon Van Etten at Glastonbury (on my tv at home!) a couple years ago and was blown away. Thanks for reading Jill! :-)
