I wish they would get rid of garbage tags and make it all more streamlined and less confusing. Also some pubs expect you to use their tag which in some cases could decrease the reach. I have noticed a few times the topics associated with (the reader interest bit) on my boosted articles are not even topics I have tagged, it's all such a rabbit's warren.
