It's really tough to lose a close friend, so sorry. It happens, unfortunately, when we move on from certain situations that initially bond us with a person. I have learned this the hard way a few times. It is hurtful they would tell you they needed space after you being so vulnerable with your writing, I am so sorry, that is messed up.
