It's so freaking depressing and infuriating what little strides women have made on this front. You were damned either way Susan, and none of it was your fault, other than being born a woman. I spoke up once when a boss at a temp assignment crossed the line into being genuinely creepy, guess who never got another job again with that agency. It was years ago but am sure it still happens, as you point out even pregnant married women can't expect back up from their supervisors, what hope is there. Bleurgh.
