It's the "there is always a lifeboat for me, surely" phenomenon. They created a caste system with the boost. Boost nominators felt elevated, protected somehow. I have my own take I have written but not published. I don't want to sound bitter but it's hard. Now they are over on Substack setting up the same shops with tails tucked, trying to act like we're all in it together with a straight face except there are no boosts on Substack lol. Writers must not devalue themselves even in the face of disrespect. Had we stuck together MAYBE we would have at least had a response. I don't know. The ship sank fast, and no one at the top cares, they are still getting paid.
