Loved this post/prompt! I have this weird thing with tiny moments that weren't defining moments that stick in my brain anyway. It kind of came to me when I was sick, that I was remembering perfect days where nothing particularly important happened, but I could never figure out why that day etc. But defining moments are important to remember and reflect on for sure. They help give us perspective I think. Like you say they are forced upon us, and we have no choice but to react, however that plays out. I miss the changing of the seasons a lot living in Scotland, the weather here can feel pretty samey at times and autumn is less defined especially.
