So well researched, written and contextualized.👏👏❤️ I hate that Beyonce's beautiful, rooted in all the ways that resonate from her lived experience cover of this song has been in any way questioned. It's ludicrous McCartney had to say anything, but I am glad he shared his loved for the song. Not that it matters to some people, who will always be ignorant. Just highlights more than ever how important her work is with this album in this space and time in America. Thank you for writing about this so eloquently, it needed to be said.
