Oracle Cards of the Day
Observations on universal advice
I thought I would share the three cards I pulled today from my Wisdom Oracle deck (authors Diana Cooper and Greg Saurat) and how they resonated with me. I only do this occasionally, but when I do I think “Ah, yes, why don’t I do this more often?”.
Success: I will paraphrase but basically success and failure are relative, and we often linger much longer on disappointments than victories. Aim for unconventional versions of success and failure, all events are chances to learn and grow. Align your dreams for your life with your end goal, strive past typical ideas of success and failure. Then your life will reveal abundance and success beyond your dreams.
Affirmation: I perceive success in all that I do
For me personally the idea of “success” has often felt both triggering and elusive somehow. I have never been motivated by what seems to drive most people, and it has often made me feel like an outsider in terms of how I measure my accomplishments.
What most resonated for me with this card is the idea about how we dwell on our failures but rarely take a minute to celebrate our successes.
However minor or major, I know I am guilty of this. I am rarely satisfied or happy when something goes well in terms of my output. Whether it’s…
