Pleased to Meet Me was my introduction to the Replacements, it was the album of the month in the 12 tapes for a penny club days (hello my first introduction to debt!) and I was a freshman in high school. I was instantly hooked, Westerberg's lyricism was so catchy. I also had The Cure on heavy rotation, wow was Diesintegration an intense album for a teenager but also a salve lol! And New Order, NIN, what a time to be alive really! Great choices all!
