Sacre Bleu! 👏😂 My first trip to Paris was in August, the hotels were cheap which I think I chalked up to heat, I didn't realize how closed the city would be. Also encountered some sort of impromptu lunch strike by grumpy train workers who apparently had not had a break in ten minutes, oh la la! 😉 I admire their take no prisoners attitude in some ways but can see how daunting it would be in doctor's offices and other situations.
