Thanks for sharing your story Therese, that is amazing! So glad your family was able to reconnect (and share your story in a book!). I do understand my grandmother's family not wanting to deal with me/my dad's story at her advanced age, they know what is best for her I am sure. I thought it was a bit rude the woman just ignored my message to begin with though. I think if I had traced the information 20 or even 10 years ago it might have been a different story, but sadly too much time has passed.
