Thanks for standing up for what so many of us are feeling Carol. You are not alone. I wrote a similarly disgruntled piece yesterday and felt nervous about it tbh. I don't like this new "We're listening" tactic, it feels oppressive when all they are actually doing is making the site a worse user experience and obliterating the communities we have built with fellow writers. I agree with everything you say here, I do earn a small amount from referred members but there is no question the money has dried up everywhere else. I imagine the big dogs/top writers get the most referrals by a landslide, further lining their coffers while the rest of us starve. I've had it! 👏👌👊
