The Gaslight Anthem are underrated, I always thought they would break through a bit more. If you like them you might also like The Replacements - try Tim or Let It Be :-). Since you say you don't love country I will take that as a challenge and recommend Gillian Welch's debut album Revival. :-) It's more bluegrass/old time country than what passes for country these days. :-)
