The problem I have found is that it's luck of the draw, unless you keep writing the same stuff over and over which some people do (in my case my "viral" stories have been pretty random/hard to recreate though). I'm here to write, not chase a formula for virality. But obviously it feels good when it happens, it's a catch 22 for me anyway! In June I couldn't even get to much more than what I made the previous month despite writing and reading much more, it's a game of roulette for many I think! 🤷‍♀️
