These all sound interesting and moving, bookmarking to add a few to my list. My reading has been pretty lightweight recently, I did love Gary Janetti's two memoirs (I had to read the first one immediately after the recent one, his storytelling is addictive and hilarious). I think I read Flowers for Algernon long ago, I also remember the film with Matthew Modine.
