This is so powerful, thank you for sharing. I am so sorry you went through this but glad you woke up. He sounds like a narcissist tbh, I have only dealt with one, a "friend", and that was demoralizing and damaging enough to get them out of my life. I have so much respect for anyone who is in deep with an abusive life partner and finds the strength to get away. We really need to bring emotional manipulation and abuse into the open so less people fall prey to it.
