Uh oh! I know what you mean though I still enjoy it. I think Homelander is such an enjoyable monster they can't help themselves layering on everything they can. What did you think of Soldier Boy's character? It felt almost timid to me, like "Ooh we have a non-woke blast from the past, tee hee" but I love Jensen Ackles. I think British shows (generally) handle the comedic poking of wokeness a bit better. But maybe those days are numbered too.
