What an epic trip! Beautiful storytelling. You covered a lot of ground, I admit anytime I have thought about a cross country type trip I figured it would be impulsive too. Glad you have such good company in Conan and it's wonderful you got to catch up with a true friend along the way. Utah only came on my radar recently too, I never realized what a majestic place it is, how amazing that must have been to discover it so spontanously! It's definitely on my list.
