Wise words and I think you had your head on your shoulders more than most when you first embarked on your expat journey, so you are set up in a really advantageous mindset in this step of your journey. I never really related to most expat stories tbh, I didn't move to change my life in most of the ways people do, but I was following a dream I guess in the romance way. Weirdly I was looking at the American club where I live recently, I guess I am feeling disconnected/homesick. But I know I would have nothing in common with them realistically, mostly rich oil wives who come here for a couple of years and don't really adapt is the impression I get from the blogs. Expat life as a n extended vacation is really common, and not my own experience. Off on a tangent, sorry! I love that you have settled, and found a place that feels like home, for however long it lasts you are grounded and learning and living your life your way, something very few people ever dare to do. Careful with the coffee spills! Maybe you could sell your coffee online - Tumbling Adventures of Sara? 😊❤️ Put that cute puppy on the package too!
