Wow, you have travelled quite a bit! I have a decent amount of overlap with your travels, too! Early Austin festival times sound fun, I had a friend who lived there before it got so popular but I have never been. Another friend was heavy into NY improv scene with her own group but I don't know if she ever went to a festival. I used to love going to improv shows in NY in the late 90s.
