Yay, I hope you find a way to write about it! Sometimes that first draft is so raw and full of feelings, it's hard for me too. I have been known to delete or abandon things for years and then come back to them. A little time and distance can help but some things don't get easier either. The perspective thing helps if you can access it, not sure I described it as well as I could have but it is something I am only now figuring out myself too.
