Yes I think the supporting characters maybe filled that niche enough at times to give him breathing room too! I admit I enjoyed the over the top-ness of characters like Paulie D, Silvio and Christopher. I can see how it would be a bit annoying being from a place to have the stereotypes be too broad though!
